Emma Lou Ray Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 76, Emma Lou Ray of Richmond, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Abshear and Elsie Jane Sizemore Renfro; her son David Allen Ray; her stepson William Allen Ray Jr.; her son-in-law Millard "Blue" Burns; and her siblings, Winfred Abshear, Paul Richard Abshear, James Monroe Abshear, William Abshear and Helen Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Gail Burns, Betty Sue Robertson (Greg Prater), Naomi Jean Taylor (Jimmy), Marilyn Monroe Grant and Mark Ray (Jeannie); her stepsons, Tony Ray (JoAnn) and Danny Ray; and her brothers, Herman Abshear, Luther Abshear (Judy) and Dallas Abshear. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
