It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elza Ray Rhodus of Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cecil and Mattie Lunsford Rhodus; and his brother Bob Rhodus. He is survived by: his wife Louise Lamb Rhodus; his children, Mackie Ray Rhodus (Doris) of Richmond, Bro. Walter Lee Rhodus (Rebecca) of Richmond, Paul Junior Rhodus (Emily) of Richmond and Melissa Sigmon (Marcus) of Mt. Vernon; and his siblings, Steve Rhodus (Helen), Jimmy Rhodus (Betty) and Betty Lou Stivers. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
