It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eliza Powell Mays of Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph Mays; her parents, Albert Powell and Mary Frances Powell; her son Eddie Wayne Mays (Minnie); her grandson Ricky Dale Davis; and her great grandchildren, Joshua Hayes and Landon Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Mays of Berea, Louzena Stewart of Richmond, Gloria Hill (Tom) of Richmond, Anna Winkler (Wayne) of Richmond and Brenda Lamb (Jim) of Richmond; and her grandchildren, Jody Stewart, Robin Chrisman (Tim), Vonda Sipple (Dan), Rhonda Stamper (Bill), Steve Estes, Ernie Hurley, Jaime Lee (Anthony), Kristy Newell (Kevin), Kathy Hacker (Dwayne), Eddie Wayne Mays II, Sarah Love (Aaron), Erica Poynter and Valerie Owens (Jimmy). She is also survived by 24 Great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
