She was predeceased by: her father Earl Meadows; her stepfather Hansel Sparks; her son Gary Wayne Benge; her grandson Keaton Benge; her great grandchild Hunter Cates; and the father of her children Clyde Benge.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Salmons (David), Clyde Bruce Benge and Larry Douglas Benge (Shona); her grandchildren, Keisha Gibson, Nikki Cates, Tonya Peters (Wendell), Bray Benge, Greenlee Benge, Amber Volk and Jonathan Broaddus; her great grandchildren, Hayden Cates, Charlie Underwood, Aubrey and Avery Peters; her sister Elsie Hunter (William); and her caregivers, Jennifer Winburn, Courtney Taylor, Wanda Bryant, Rachel Holloway, Vicki Sandlin and Tammy Payne. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
