He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Iona "Hazel" Weekly Carlyle; and his siblings, Louise Gurney, Doris LaChapelle, Virgil Carlyle and Wayne Carlyle.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Evelyn Montgomery Carlyle; his daughters, Bobbi Ramsay and Dawn Carlyle; and his grandchildren, Philip Ramsay, Claire Ramsay and Lauren Ramsay. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
