He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brewer and Emma Bowman Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Sebastian Brewer; his sons, Scottie Joe Brewer of Richmond, KY and John Bowman Brewer (Kindal) of Corbin, KY; his grandchildren, Taryn E. Brewer and Walker Boaz Brewer; and his nieces, Katrina Scarberry, Kim Cox, Tanya Moore and Bev Riley.
