He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Alvin Borders, Sr. and Ruby Lee Price Chiles (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Gladys Marie Pigg Borders; his children, James Delbert Borders (Jennifer) of Nicholasville, Delbert Leon Borders Jr. of Louisville, Robert Glenn Borders of Lexington, Jordan Dale Hart of Kentucky and Teressa Lee Riggs (Steven) of Lexington; his stepchildren, Don Hale (Cheryl) and Teresa Mullins (Randy); his sisters, Regina Linemann of Texas and Tammy Chiles of Ohio; and his nieces, Pat Alcorn and Joyce Drinnon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 4 step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
