He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannine Teater Parks; his parents, Homer Parks and Edith Parks; and his siblings, Durwood, Dana Parks and Margaret P. Baker.
He is survived by: his brothers, Dr. Alva Parks (Doris) and Ronald Parks; his children, Paul and Debbie Hale; his grandsons, Drew Hale (Lindsay) and Chandler Hale (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Luke Oliver, Samuel David and Noah James Hale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
