She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Harry M. Smiley; her parents, Emerson Nathan Wasser and Marcella Beatrice Storn Wasser; and her sister Carol Shanks. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Lynn Havrilesko (Doug) of Winchester, Kentucky, Jeffrey Alan Smiley of Gaithersburg and David Nathan Smiley (Elizabeth Duffy) of Auburn; and her brother Emerson Wasser (Ann) of Yucaipa, California. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter and three great grandsons.
