It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Tuttle of Richmond, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie, Sr. Tuttle and Maggie Deaton Tuttle; his siblings, James Ray "J. C." Tuttle, Virgil Tuttle, Randall Tuttle, Biage Tuttle, Olf Tuttle, Junior Tuttle and Nora Carpenter; and his grandson Justin Burkhart.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Saylor Tuttle; his children, Burley Burkhart of Brodhead, Jason Burkhart of Brodhead, Kaye Childress (Norman) of Brodhead, Melissa Owens of Brodhead, Barbara Willis of Berea, Glenda "Lynnie" Willis (Wayne) of Berea, Becky Smith of Orlando and Mary King of Richmond; and his sisters, Irene Tuttle of Crab Orchard, Mary Delany of Lancaster and Betty Joe Carpenter of Berea. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
