It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles L. Metcalf (Richmond, Kentucky), who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles L. Metcalf to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hampton and Mattie Bush Metcalf; and his son Joseph Scott Metcalf. He is survived by: his wife Jean Sims Metcalf; his children, Patricia Metcalf Farmer (Rex), Mark Metcalf (Myra) and Susan Metcalf Wheeler; and his grandchildren, Lauren Cody Martin (Zach) and Cassidy Morgan Wheeler.
