He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Wayne; and his brother David Pelfrey. He is survived by: his mother Arlene Brock Pelfrey, Sr.; his grandson Jonah; his wife Katherine Pelfrey; his children, Kristina Pelfrey (Daniel Claybourne) and Christopher Lee Pelfrey; his brother Jeff Pelfrey; his stepson Justin Starrett; his stepgrandson J. J. Starrett; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Pelfrey, Lee Pelfrey and David "Bubby" Pelfrey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
