She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Steadman Whisman and Bertha Hord Whisman; her husband Babe R. "Johnny" Bowles; and her siblings, Joseph Kenneth Whisman, Josephine Fugate (Twin) and Patsy Mosgrove. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
