She was predeceased by: her mother Elaster Douglass, Jr. (Bransford); her husband James Edward Coakley of Portland; her father George Douglass, Jr.; and her siblings, Vendella Gwynn and Marion Douglass.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Holman (Marshall) of Richmond, Audrey Cepeda (Vicente) of Sparta, Wisconsin and Vincent Coakley of Charlotte; and her siblings, Georgia Mae McKenzie of Long Beach, California, Phillip Douglass, William Douglass and Arthur Douglass of Gallatin, Tennessee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White Oak Pond Church (1238 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
