We bid farewell to Brutus Mansfield of Richmond, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 10, 2024 at the age of 90. Brutus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Mansfield and Martha Lou Mansfield; and his siblings, Narce Mansfield, Lester Mansfield, Roy Mansfield, Mary Francis'Jo'Talbott, Mattie Grace Lee, Jay'Ted'Mansfield Jr. and Gracie B. Mansfield Fritz.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Gandolfo Mansfield; his children, Debra Mansfield Moore (David) and Thomas Jay Mansfield (Amy); and his grandchildren, Mattie Moore, Mollie Moore and William Mansfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (608 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
