She was predeceased by: her father Bobby Jean Whitfield; and her brother Victor Whitfield. She is survived by: her mother Carolyn Whitfield; her children, Brian Morgan and Ashley Carter (Drew); her sister Trudy Maxwell; and her grandchildren, Alex Morgan, Hazel Sky, Eleanor Carter and Henry Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
