She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Crank and Tressie Crank; her siblings, Vinita Crank Fritts and James Ray Crank; and her husband Dr. James C Murphy of Kirksville, KY..
She is survived by: her children, Dr Bryan D Murphy (Jennifer Coy Murphy) of Louisville, KY, Tamara Ann Murphy of Shelbyville, KY and Tara Elizabeth Murphy King (Brian) of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, James Tipton Murphy (Ivy) of Louisville, KY, Lily Murphy Wilder (Max) of Lexington, KY and Ainsley Elizabeth King; her great grandchild Riley Faye Murphy; and her sister-in-law Bettie Warren of Richmond, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the First Baptist Church, 425 Eastern Bypass, Richmond, KY 40475.
