She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Blakemore; her children, Connie Blakemore of Richmond and Thomas "Mark" Blakemore; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Claire and Bryant Blakemore. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

She and her daughter Connie had a pre-COVID Thanksgiving tradition of celebrating at Churchill Downs with friends. And she especially enjoyed the Christmas holiday trips the entire family shared in North Carolina and Pigeon Forge, celebrating her birthday.

Memorial donations are suggested to First Christian Church in Richmond, Open Concern and the American Heart Association.
