It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Whalen Stone of Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Stone; her parents, Raymond C. Whalen and Jessie Harper Whalen; and her sisters, Nancy Hicks and Linda Fain.
She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond Eddie Whalen (Judy) of Berry, Michael W. Whalen of Cynthiana, Mickey Fitch of Nicholasville, Faye Gibson (Billy) of Cynthiana and Karen Staggs (Jimmy) of Mt. Olivet; her stepsons, Greg Stone of Tennessee and Jimmy Stone of Richmond; her stepgranddaughters, Brianna, Kristin and Bianca; and her close friends, Alma Stone and Gertrude Scrivner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
