He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Flynn and Louise Long Flynn; his children, Matthew Oliver Flynn and Maureen Flynn Friend; his siblings, Jennie Bell Flynn Weis, Ralph Flynn, Nelson Flynn and Harry Flynn Jr.; and the mother of his children Diane Flynn Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Farmer Flynn; his children, Margaret Fitzpatrick, Marrianne Solnina (Stanley) and Michael Flynn (Lela); his stepsons, Greg Farmer and Bruce Farmer; his siblings, Alton Flynn (Ruth Ann) and Irene Flynn Dennis Lutes; his children-in-law, Bill Friend and Candy Flynn; and his grandchildren, Matthew Black, Hudson Flynn, Delaney Flynn (Samantha), Patrick Flynn (Bridgett), Amanda Roy (Steve), Adison Flynn, Aaron Flynn (Madeline), Abby Brineger (Branden), Alex Slonina (Hannah) and Branden Slonina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
