With heavy hearts, we announce the death of April Sawin of Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on August 30, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Dozier, and Edith Williams Dozier, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Phillips of Richmond, Hannah McArdle (Matthew) of Cincinnati, OH, Summer Sawin of Nicholasville and Destiny Sawin of Lexington; her siblings, Jimmy Dozier, Shauneta Prewitt (Larry) and Dorothy Fern Minguela; and her grandson Dakota Miller. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
