She is survived by: her sons, Ewell Barnes (Vivian) of Richmond, Ollie "Butch" Barnes, Jr. of Berea, William "Billy" Barnes (Teresa) of Richmond and Garry Barnes (Cathy) of Richmond; her granddaughter Patricia "Sis" Hendricks of Richmond; her siblings, Rev. Gilbert "Tommy" Sowers (Betty), Donald "Slick" Sowers, Ronald "Doodle" Sowers and Lena Barnes; and her sister-in-law Jenna Marie Sowers. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren.
