It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Etherington (Richmond, Kentucky), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas "Tom" P. Etherington; her parents, Henry C. Jones and Amanda Elizabeth Williams Jones; her siblings, Walter Jones, H. C. Jones, William Bennett Jones, Lelia Busler and Mildred Baker; and her sons-in-law, Bill Short and Rob Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas H. Etherington (Kimberely), James L. Etherington (Maria), Rebecca "Becky" Etherington, Dottye Etherington Burton, Carolyn Etherington Hornback (John), Patti Etherington and Janet Etherington Short; her grandchildren, John Thomas Hornback (Katelyn), Christina Etherington (Richard), Anna Elizabeth Etherington (Scott), Kristina Huff, Holly Short (Tina), Brian Hornback, Ashley Haag (Philip), Siobhan Durham, William Short, Jeanna Burton, Brianna Etherington and Jill Ramdass (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jayson Paul Stuart, Jacob Huff, Noah Huff, Luca Haag, Antinino Haag, Lillianna Haag, Vincent Haag of Sydney Hornback, J. P, Brendan Ramdass, Sarah Ramdass, Becca Ramdass, Kaitlyn Hanson and Kelsey Barger; and her great great grandchildren, Ryder Hanson, Lucas Hanson, Marcus Hanson, Maddix Barger and Magnolia Barger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (608 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Mark Catholic School, 115 Parrish Ave., Richmond, KY 40475.
