She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Short and Dora Vires Short; and her siblings, Ance of Ollie, J. B., John, Dean, Richard Short, Helen Terry, Delcie Smith and Rosemary Short.
She is survived by: her husband Pierce "P. J." Johnson; her daughter Tracey Johnson-Kidd (John) of Cincinnati, Ohio; her grandson Lleyton S. Kidd; her siblings, Susie Smith (Buck) of Mill Creek, Kentucky and Bobby Short (Ina) of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; and her siblings-in-law, Mollie Johnson, Fannie Short, Emma Short and George Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
