He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Dorothy Eades Smith; his wife Willa Mae Hounshell Smith; and his son Alfred Dewayne Smith. He is survived by: his children, Pam Mae Hummel and Frankie Smith; his stepson Doug Williams; and his brother John W. Smith. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many extended family.
