He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin L. Banks and Juanita Hayden Banks; and his sister Eula Mae Bass. He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his son Herbert C. Banks II (Dee) of Reidland, KY; his granddaughters, Jordan Banks and Sidney Banks; and his siblings, Sharon Luchesi, Phyllis Galindez, Janie Castleman, Linda Neihoff, Dana Estes, Russell Banks, Morris Banks, Billy Banks and James Banks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
