With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Wheat of Reidland, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Wheat and Winnie Wheat; his sisters, Wilma Thacker and Vera Piland; and his great grandchild Marlee Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Wheat of Reidland; his sons, Chris Wheat (Connie) of Mayfield and Daryl Wheat (Teresa) of Lone Oak; his siblings, Reva Hickerson of Clifton, TN, Roberta Evans-Polk of Clifton, TN and Johnny Wayne Wheat (Linda) of Linden, TN; his grandchildren, Katie Koss, Kase Bennett, Christianna Wheat, Martin Wheat, Ezekiel Wheat, Gracen Wheat and Eljah Wheat; and his great grandchildren, Kailei Koss and Destry Bennett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
