He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Turner and Beulah Turner; and his siblings, Rebecca Wilson, Ervin Turner, Matthew Turner and Roger Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Turner; his daughter April Duncan (Andy); his sister Virginia; his grandchildren, Alan "Bubba" Duncan, Abigail "Abi" Duncan and Aggie; and his pet Ringo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
