He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harold "Dickie" Leake and Nancy Newton Leake; his siblings, Joseph Edward Leake, James Ronald Leake and Iris Helena Clark; his siblings-in-law, Pete Mattingly and Helen Leake; and his grandson Hudson Damian Leake.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Leake of Saint Francis, Michael Leake (Reagan) of Loretto, Jennifer Hagan (Todd) of Holy Cross and Jeffrey Leake (Abby Medley) of Loretto; his grandchildren, Madison Ackley (Andrew), Carter Leake, Pierce Hagan, Harrison Leake, Kace Hagan, Kensley Hagan, Zachary Leake and Gracie Leake; his great grandchildren, Leo and MaKenna Ackley; his siblings, Narelle Collins (Joe) of Bardstown, Serena Mattingly of Louisville, Karen Mattingly (Jake) of Louisville, Sherman Leake (Aline) of Lebanon, Alvin Leake of Raywick and Freddie Leake (Debbie) of Raywick; and his brother-in-law Don Clark of Greenbriar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mattingly Funeral Home (195 Holy Cross Rd, Loretto, KY 40037). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
