She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Michael and Sophie Mae Battcher Thompson; and her brothers, Chuck and Bill Thompson. She is survived by: her fiancé Eddie Clark; her sons, Daniel Leigh (Jessica Newton) of Loretto and Jim Leigh (Jenny) of Nashville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Mason, Caleb, Tyler, Hudson and Ella; and her siblings, Connie Mattingly (Archie) of Loretto, Julie Robey (Tom) of Loretto, Sharon Donahue of Holy Cross, Barbara Mudd (Joe) of Holy Cross, Wanda Davis of New Hope, Doris Lamkin of Raywick, Tommy Thompson (Mary) of Saint Francis, Jim Thompson (Madeline) of Saint Francis, Mark Thompson of Saint Francis, John Thompson of Raywick and Dan Thompson (Glenna) of Raywick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Loretto City Hall (72 School House Dr, Loretto, KY 40037).
