It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hawk Mattingly of Raywick, Kentucky, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clell and Josephine Galloway Mattingly; and his siblings, Grace I. "Sis" Cambron, Charles Leon "Doc" Mattingly, Thomas Jasper "Pete" Mattingly and Joseph Merriell Mattingly.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thompson Mattingly; his children, Carl Mattingly (Pam) of Raywick, Denise Mattingly (Terry) of Raywick, Robbie Mattingly of Raywick and Trina Mattingly of Raywick; his grandchildren, Nikki Waldeck, Ashley Blandford, Rochelle Lee, Morgan Lee, Daniel Mattingly, Austin Mattingly, Trevor Mattingly and Derek Mattingly; and his siblings, Virginia "Bussie" Thomas of Louisville, Diane Mills (Tommy) of Louisville, William Gerald "Jake" Mattingly (Karen) of Louisville, Clell "Al" Mattingly, Jr. of Louisville and Joyce Ann Thomas of Raywick. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
