He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Mae Whitlock Lamkin; his daughter Mary Marcella Lamkin; his parents, William Joseph and Lucy Ella Bartley Lamkin; and his siblings, Marge Clark, Betty French, Irene Morris, Bill Lamkin, Jack Lamkin, Mike Lamkin and Raymond Lamkin.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Hayden (Lester) of Lebanon, Carol Garrett (Matthew) of Lebanon, Barbara Gordon (Kevin) of Lebanon, David Sr. (Patricia) of Raywick, Joe (Barbara) of Raywick, Phillip (Nancy Leigh) of Raywick, Jackie (Tammy) of Raywick, Michael (Becki) of Raywick and Danny (Heather) of Raywick; his brother Andy Lamkin (Betty Jo) of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Steven Hayden, Christian Forbis, David Lamkin Jr., Travis Lamkin, Nick Lamkin, Brandon Lamkin, Lance Abell, Morgan Lamkin, Brooke Gordon, Jessica McClure, Heather Lamkin and Honorary Pallbearers. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
