It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Wise (Raywick, Kentucky), born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Wise and Minnie Lee Shively Wise; his son Pious Alexander Wise, Jr.; his granddaughter Brianna of Washington; and his siblings, Imogene White (Glen), Dorothy Cornett (Ray) and Jim Wise (Ailene).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cornett Wise; his children, Tommy Wise, Sue Wise, Tammy Rakes (Ricky) and Melinda Wise; his sisters, Clydine Sanders (Edwards) and Bertha Richerson (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Jeremy Harris (April), Dustin Harris, Angel Brockman (Andrew), Sam Hayden, Joey Wise, Christina Bagby (Brian) and Miya of Washington. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
