She was predeceased by: her parents, Strauder Griggs and Ester Barnes Griggs; her husband Neal Tipton; her daughter Teresa Woolery; her siblings, Samuel, Lawrence Griggs and Geneva Barnes; her son-in-law Louie Streiss; and her sisters-in-law, Vivian Griggs and Jaunita Griggs.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Streiss, Stevie Tipton (Rebecca Issacs Tipton) and Jeff Tipton (Rebecca Wise Tipton); her grandchildren, Brian Tipton, Stevie Tipton II, Brittany Tipton and Carena Tipton Riddell (Noah); her great grandchildren, Samantha, Racin, Lacey, Allen, Alayiha and Ensley; her siblings, Johnny Griggs and Betty Embs (Scottie); and her son-in-law Doug Woolery. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
