He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alexander Whited and Novie Frances Piercy Whited; his wife Ruth Arlene Neal Whited; his siblings, Mary Lee Ferkus, Richard Whited and Nerma Gregory; his stepdaughters, Carolyn Gore, Linda Taylor and Vanessa Avery; and his stepgranddaughter Tonya.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray Whited (Anna) and Alan Whited (Dana); his stepdaughter Dorthy Gartee; his grandchildren, Gianna Lutz, Lorna Merrell, Austin Whited, Tracker Whited, Amanda Stewart, Ashley Reeder, Miranda Medley and Ryan Bruner; and his stepgrandchildren, Larry, Stacy, Vickie, Pat, Mike, Jennifer, Jackie, Brandon, Jason and Raylee. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
