He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannie; his parents, Larue Pugsley Cox and Walter Hale; his brother Ed Hale; and his former wife Kitty Lee Tomlin Hale.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Hale (Chris) and Leslie Lewis (Josh); his grandchildren, Zander, Zachery, Spencer and Makyleigh Lewis; and his siblings, Maxie Abernethy, Merrijane Denter, Kathy Bundy, Richard, Mike and John Hale. He is also survived by three step children; 15 step grandchildren.
The family requests that everyone wear masks and observe social distancing during the visitation and service.
