He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Redd and Anna Evans Redd. He is survived by: his wife Emma; his son Walter Wayne, II; his siblings, Arthur William Redd, Jr., Robert Melvin Redd, Laura Mae Redd Williams, Jay Andrew Redd and Rhona Jean Redd McCorkle; his children, James Edward, William Crofford (Cheryl), Jonathan Dwayne (Latisha), Remick Burke (Carol) and Deborah LaDonna (Randy); and his daughter-in-law Tena Redd. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
