It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas William Hertz of Radcliff, Kentucky, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Lynn Hertz; his parents, Thomas W. Sr. Hertz and Ilene M. Hertz; and his brother Ronald W. Hertz (Fern). He is survived by: his siblings, JoAnn Willett (Paul) of East Peoria, IL and Charles D. Hertz (Sue) of Bartonville, IL; and his children, Tamberly D. Smith (Tracy), Crystal C. Carter (Will), Britney L. Nolan (James) and Thomas W. Hertz. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a host of extended family & friends.
