He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Parks and Rena Parks; his sister Ruth Roberson; and his grandson Colin Whitfill. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Parks of Radcliff; and his children, Barry Parks of Elizabethtown, KY, Dawn Whitfill of Lebanon, KY and Leyla Hook (Eddie) of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
