He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Spalding; his brother Joe Brown; his grandparents, Lucy Mae Brown Porter and George Brown; his aunt Marcell Porter; his cousin Terry O'Neil Gray Porter; and his uncles, Thomas Porter, Lewis Porter, Spalding Porter, Steve Porter and Charles Porter.
He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Turner (John); his siblings, Damon Brown, Latoria Bowers, Donetta Gonzalez, Jessica Spalding and Melinda Spalding; his grandparents, Jackie Moffit and Eddie Taylor; his stepgrandfather Roy Moffit; and his aunt Allison Taylor. He is also survived by six aunts, five great aunts, three uncles, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
