Judith Earlene left this world on September 27, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Samuel David Manning and Jan Lee Reed; her parents, Thomas Ashley and Gladys Ashley; her grandsons, Damon Smith and Justin York; and her sister Wanda Goldsmith.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Smith (Jeff) of Florence, KY, Melody Hatter (James) of Radcliff, Shelly Manning of Florence, Sandy Ellis (Paul) of Elizabethtown, KY and Samuel David Manning Jr. (Tracy) of Florence; and her siblings, Betty Chapman (Preston) of Johnson City, TN and Larry Thomas Ashley of Mason, GA. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place.
