It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hornback of Radcliff, Kentucky, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Deborah Kay and Denise Elaine; his siblings, Houston, Ophus Hornback, Marlowe Carmichael, Elsie Wooden, Melva Watson, Zelpha Lewis, Earlene Auberry, Iona Riggs Robertson, Emogene Watson, Ruth Hornback and Maeoma Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Trenton and Bubbles Hornback; and his parents, Rev. Johnny and Mollie Hornback.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Dean; his children, Gary (Betty) of Louisville, Rodney (Aileen) of Elizabethtown, Cheryl Peacock (Paul) of Elizabethtown and Renee Johnson (Mike) of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Wayne, Matthew, Julie, Michelle, Joshua, Brandon, Brittany, Justin and Ryan.
Because of COVID-19, the family asks every visitor wear a face mask or face cover and practice social distancing.
