He was predeceased by: his wife Vicki Daugherty (Sisk); his parents, Belva Daugherty (Bellar) and James Daugherty; and his brothers, Gene, Benny and Bobby Daugherty.

He is survived by: his sons, Steven Daugherty (Wendy) and Scott Daugherty; his grandchildren, Kayce, Travis and Austin; and his great grandchildren, Marley and Blakely.
