He is survived by: his wife Christine Shaw of Radcliff, KY; his children, Jason Shaw (Eva) of California, Heather Scamihorn (Matthew) of Elizabethtown, KY and J. Jon Shaw of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Leo, Ty, Abby, Zackary, Aleah and Elliott; his brother Steven Shaw (Betty) of Lexington, KY; and his nieces, Jackie and Courtney.
