He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Joybelle Young (Haynes); his daughter Lakeicha Murray; and his brothers, Mike, Mark and Paul Young.
He is survived by: his fiancée Mattie Gathers; his children, Ishea Deaver, James Eric Young, Diana Newby and Jazmin Miller; and his siblings, Bryant Moorman (Elsie), Sherry Ditto, Marcella Duncan (David), Anita Duncan, Donna Moorman and Cassandra Crouch.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
