He is survived by: his mother Amanda Nails Nesmith (Tommy Lee) of Winston Salem, NC; his wife Angelica Johnson Nails of Vine Grove, KY; his children, Freddie Rayvon Nails, Jr. of Vine Grove, KY, Tawanda Carter (Marlin), Chantal Nails-Neylon, Britany Nails and Breanna Nails; his sisters, Elder Linda F. Lewis (Danny), Dianna Williams and Elder Pamela Ferrell; his goddaughter Chantal Carter; and his cousin Linsetta Dodd. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
