He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Slater and Jean Slater; and his siblings, Paul Slater and Rona Slater. He is survived by: his wife Kum Sun Slater of Radcliff, KY; and his siblings, Kenneth Slater, Robert Slater, James Slater, Steven Slater, Dennis Slater, Barbara Plessinger, Karen Weatherman and Mary Scherer. He is also survived by nineteen nieces & nephews; several great nieces & nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
