She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Figueroa Santiago and Secundino Marrero Oropesa; her son José Iván Bravo Marrero; her grandsons, Jose Ivan Bravo López, Ernesto Enrique Bravo López and Jeff W. Morales Bravo; her siblings, Miguel, Angela, Aurea Esther, Fipo, Mayin and Maria Marrero; and her nephew Ramon Valentin Marrero.
She is survived by: her sisters, Carmen and Dominga Marrero; and her children, Juan Pablo, Lydia Esther, Pedro Juan, Elizabeth, Sonia, Sandra, Migdalia, Margarita and Jean Carlos. She is also survived by Twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and a large number of relatives and friends.
Yuya's legacy is not only seen in the lives of her immediate family, but also in the lives of many people she touched through her work, her faith, and her contribution to the community.
