She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Thompson and Alistine Rayford; her son Thomas E. Gordon, Jr.; and her brothers, Terry, Baron and Alvin.

She is survived by: her son James A. Gordon of Frederick, MD; and her sister Darleen Moss.
