She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Carlisle; her daughters, Ernestine Cloud and Annie Jean James; and her parents, Julius Holley and Ida Holley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Henrietta Leonard (Willie) and Yolande Smalls (Prince); and her sister Ida McKenny. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
